Who on earth is Matthew Hill? Well, I'm a digital artist hailing from the exciting and bustling suburbs (not really) of Croydon, South London. I studied Computing, Maths and Physics in school and began a degree in Computer Science at Imperial College London before realising I hated every second of it and packing my bags to pursue a new life in the arts!
As a huge fan of British comedies such as Peep Show, Spaced, Stath Lets Flats and JAM, to name just a few, I wanted to pursue a life in TV and Film to eventually get a shot in the completely unique British comedy industry. I remember watching TV with my older sister every week whilst my parents were away at badminton practice and viewing all these bizarre shows our parents would never put on TV and this quickly became my passion.
I pursued this passion by beginning to learn 3D animation in 2020 during lockdown having taken inspiration from independant online artists such as Jack Stauber and ANDYLAND. When I began to enjoy my pass time work more than my University work, I knew it was time to switch careers and began a degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics at Brunel University London, which brings me to where I am today!
